On June 9th205, Nigerian artist Davido released his much-anticipated music video called “Fans Mi”, featuring American rapper Meek Mill.
The record breaking
15 days after it was released, the video has hit more than a million views on YouTube. Davido shared his joy on his Instagram account by saying: “RECORD BREAKER!!! 1,000,000 views in days!!!!!!” A few weeks back, Davido did tell his fans that this would be the “biggest video of his career.” 2015 has been a great year for the afrobeats musician: he is in the process of releasing a new album, he recently graduated from university, he had a daughter, he bought a house in Atlanta, and he received three nominations for the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards.
